Today is the first day of summer, and one of the best things about summer is that theater companies across the country are all suddenly stricken with the urge to perform the works of Shakespeare outside, usually for free. If you look around your area, you’ll probably find some group or school or band of itinerant actors declaiming in iambic pentameter at a park, beach, zoo or other open space. Here are a few I was able to dig up in just a few minutes on the google-box.
